Letter to Parents - Transition Year Students

10th August, 2009.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am writing to inform you that Transition Year students will be returning to school on Wednesday, 2nd September, 2009.

As you know Transition Year involves many different types of activities including Safe Food for Life Programme, Street Awareness and First Aid, which are expensive to run. For this reason, we ask students to pay €130 at the beginning of Transition Year to help subsidise some of the costs involved in these different programmes. Transition Year students do not pay a separate General Purpose Fee.
Conscious of the financial demands made on you at this time, we can accept stage payments by arrangement if necessary.

The School Office is now open each day from 9.15 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 1.45 p.m. to 4.15 p.m. for payment of the Transition Year Fee, Student Insurance and School Journal as mentioned in Mrs. Hughes’ letter of 6th August.
