Besides choir and orchestra Ard Scoil often offers workshops featuring about 8 different types of instruments. Below are images of a session run by Klaus Vorheim for TY students. All of the non-exam years had the opportunity to attend the sessions. It was quite frightening listening to the drums from outside the hall doors, for they sounded like jungle drums from a film soundtrack. You can see some photos below
