Cliona Ashe triumphs again.

In the midst of her Pre exams, Cliona had a very busy Saturday as she competed in two debating events in U.C.C. She was called for trials for a position on the Irish Schools Debating team; she was successful in this event and goes forward with six other Munster speakers for the final trial which will be held in Dublin. After this, she competed with team-mate, Tamanna Breen in the Munster semi-final of the U.C.C. debates. They proposed the motion “That this house will not publish images offensive to religions “. Cliona was selected to go forward to the Munster Final on the 29th of March as an individual speaker; however, unfortunately they did not progress as a team. Well done Cliona and good luck in the next stages.
