Students are very welcome to come and see our fantastic school. 7th January, 2009. Dear Parents/Guardians, I would like to invite you and your daughter to the Open Night at Árd Scoil na nDéise, which will be held in our school on Thursday, January 29th at 7.30 p.m. SHARP. Our pupils will give a practical demonstration of their work in the subjects that will be new to First Year pupils, and the teachers will answer any questions you may have. Enrolment Forms will be available on that night. Please note that, for safety reasons, visiting students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or other responsible adult throughout their visit. School Entrance Policy Ard Scoil na nDeise Entrance Policy (Revised Sept. 05)Ard Scoil na nDeise as a Voluntary Catholic Secondary School welcomes all female students, provided that the school can reasonably meet their educational needs and that they can benefit from what the school has to offer. Its entrance policy is both open and inclusive. All students and parents of prospective students are asked to read and sign the school’s Code of Behaviour and other school policies which will be made available to them i.e. Drugs Awareness Policy, Acceptable User Policy, Homework Study Policy. 1st Year Students. Transfer StudentsStudents transferring from another school will need a report from that school, detailing their academic, attendance and behavioral records. on 10/10/07
